As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Site - Front Desk in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors, clients, and employees. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and assisting with security-related inquiries at the front desk. Your presence will help to deter incidents and provide reassurance to those entering the facility. This is an armed position, so you will be expected to carry out your duties with professionalism and integrity while upholding the highest standards of Allied Universal. You will also utilize technology and communication skills to support daily operations and contribute to a positive experience for everyone at the site. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and/or clients at the front desk, providing a professional and courteous presence at the location.
• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Monitor access to the building, verifying identification and credentials as appropriate to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities as appropriate.
• Communicate important information to visitors, employees, and/or clients, providing guidance regarding building policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Level III Armed Certification for Texas is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
