Job Description:

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Site Patrol - Full Time in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will play a crucial role in helping to create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will involve conducting routine patrols throughout the location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. You will also have the opportunity to interact with a diverse group of people, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while addressing any security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Communicate with staff, visitors, and/or patients to provide assistance and information as needed.
• Support access control procedures and visitor management as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
