As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - Full Time in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine mobile and foot patrols throughout the premises. Your presence and attention to detail will help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. You will interact with a variety of individuals, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to incidents and supporting access control. This is a driving post, so you will operate company vehicles as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate: $17.18 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and security-related observations during each shift.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members while on patrol.
• Remain alert to the unique requirements of an aerospace and defense location, adapting patrols and responses as necessary to support site-specific needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
