As a Unarmed Security Guard - Manufacturing Site in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment through regular patrols and a visible presence throughout the property. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, interacting with employees and visitors, and responding to security-related incidents as they arise. You will help to deter unwanted activity by being approachable, attentive, and proactive in your duties. This is a driving post, so you will be required to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol responsibilities. Pay Rate: $17.18 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying based on the site.
• Observe for suspicious activities and/or individuals, and communicate findings to the appropriate personnel as needed.
• Assist with access control procedures, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Support emergency response protocols, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific procedures when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
