As a Security Professional Retail Patrol Full-Time in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a bustling retail location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. You will be expected to communicate clearly and respond promptly to any situations that may arise, supporting a welcoming and orderly atmosphere. Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activities.
• Assist visitors and employees with questions and directions, maintaining a welcoming presence at the location.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed in response to incidents or emergencies.
• Complete reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
