As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be instrumental in maintaining a secure environment at a dynamic automotive location. Your role involves conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and proactive engagement. You will interact with employees, visitors, and guests, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication while addressing any concerns that may arise. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $13.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as required by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports documenting incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and addressing unauthorized access attempts as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
