As a Security Professional - Dispatch Specialist in South San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring alarm panels, managing access control systems, and coordinating responses to security-related incidents. Your responsibilities will include using computer or tablet systems to track activities, communicate with on-site personnel, and provide timely updates to management. You will help to deter potential incidents through your attention to detail and strong communication skills, while delivering exceptional customer service to all visitors and tenants. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications at the dispatch station, including calls, radio transmissions, and electronic messages, to support security-related operations at the location.
  • Coordinate with on-site personnel and mobile patrols to relay information and dispatch assistance as needed for incidents or routine activities.
  • Document and log all incidents, calls, and dispatch activities accurately and promptly according to site-specific policies.
  • Assist in the implementation of emergency response procedures by communicating critical information to appropriate parties in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and requests from clients, visitors, and staff in a professional manner.
  • Support Allied Universal team members by maintaining clear and timely communication regarding security-related matters at the location.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activities by maintaining a visible and attentive presence at the dispatch post.

  • Availability across various days and shifts
  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
