As an Armed Security Professional - Commercial Building - Weekdays in Sylmar, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent commercial real estate location, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and property staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, maintaining a highly visible presence to help prevent unwanted activity, and responding promptly to incidents as they arise. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry out your duties with professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility. You will also be expected to deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with all individuals on site, and collaborate with your team to uphold the Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, and integrity. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity or conditions and report observations according to site guidelines.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, maintaining communication with Allied Universal management and site contacts.
• Support access control measures by verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site procedures.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in a clear and timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
