Allied Universal® Technology Services is hiring a Security Installation Technician III to lead and perform advanced installations of electronic security systems. As a senior-level technician, you'll take ownership of complex projects, provide mentorship to other technicians, and ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency in all installations.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 hourly

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise, train, and develop Installation Technicians, along with assisting the Project Manager with on-site scheduling, task coordination, and equipment delivery
  • Install, program, and configure electronic security systems for commercial clients, including door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, low-voltage communication, electronic locks, point sensors, signaling devices, and other security systems
  • Troubleshoot, evaluate, diagnose, integrate new and existing installations to ensure the systems are functioning properly and meets industry standards

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a company-issued vehicle
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in physical security, fire alarm, low-voltage communication systems, including installing devices, troubleshooting, programming, and running medium- to large projects
  • Ability to obtain and maintain state-specific licenses as required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of navigating multiple systems efficiently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for clear documentation and reporting
  • Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and electronics skills; adept with hand and power tools
  • Willingness to handle "on-call" duties, respond to emergency service requests, and travel overnight as needed.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively to complete tasks and meet deadlines
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work at various ladder heights

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Experience in the electronic security industry
  • Experience with any of the following: Software House, CCURE, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Brivo, Milestone, Exacqvision, Axis, Bosch, Commend, DMP, Open Options, Notifier, Fluidmesh or ONSSI
