As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading chemical and petrochemical location, you will be the welcoming face and first point of contact for all visitors, employees, and contractors entering the site. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying identification, and maintaining detailed logs of all entries and exits to help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service while communicating clearly and professionally with everyone you encounter. Pay Rate: $18.93 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and contractors at the front desk, verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity through attentive observation and adherence to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate based on protocols for chemical and petrochemical environments.
• Communicate professionally with individuals onsite, providing customer service and addressing questions or concerns related to security-related matters.
• Maintain awareness of site-specific emergency response procedures and participate in drills or real events as needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual activity in a timely and accurate manner as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
