Security Officer Desk Operations

As a Security Officer Desk Operations in Addison, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk professional with Allied Universal, you will be the welcoming first point of contact at the location, helping to monitor access, assist visitors, support security-related procedures, and deliver outstanding customer service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys communication, professionalism, and teamwork while working in a caring culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access to the location by greeting guests, verifying identification and/or visitor information, and communicating entry procedures in a professional manner.
- Answer phones, manage visitor check-in and sign-in processes, and provide directions or general assistance based on location needs.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site guidelines.
- Complete logs, reports, and other required documentation related to front desk activity, visitor access, and security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
