As a Front Desk Security Officer, you will be the welcoming face at the location, assisting visitors and staff while monitoring entry points and maintaining a secure environment. Your responsibilities will include managing access, responding to inquiries, and supporting security-related protocols with professionalism and courtesy. You will utilize technology such as computers or tablets to support your duties and help to deter potential incidents through your attentive presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk location.
• Monitor access to the building by verifying identification, managing visitor logs, and issuing temporary access credentials as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel when necessary.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered during duties at the front desk.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including initiating communication with emergency services and guiding individuals as needed.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with Allied Universal management, client representatives, and other personnel regarding security-related matters.
• Support the overall security-related objectives of the location by providing a visible presence and helping to deter unauthorized activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
