Armed Security Officer Patrol Detail Job in Albuquerque, New Mexico

As an Armed Security Officer Patrol Detail in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to staff, visitors, and patients. You will support a welcoming, secure environment through routine observations and prompt reporting of security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, donors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a healthcare-related location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate responders when needed.
- Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional, respectful presence in a donor-facing environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
- Handcuffs/Pepper Spray/Baton experience is preferred.
- Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
