Armed Security Officer Perimeter Patrol

As a Armed Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while contributing to a reliable, agile, and innovative team environment.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or public officials as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and helping to deter policy violations and/or unauthorized access.
- Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces, verifying credentials and/or access permissions in accordance with site requirements and posted procedures.
- Support incident response by preparing reports, maintaining awareness of surroundings, and communicating clearly with supervisors, coworkers, and/or local responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
