In this role, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support access awareness while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and/or emergency response activities at a technology and media location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-related spaces, parking areas, and/or perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and/or credential checks in accordance with site policies to help support orderly access and professional site operations.
- Support Allied Universal and site leadership by reporting maintenance issues, hazards, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior observed during assigned duties.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
