Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Job in Albuquerque, New Mexico

As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence for employees and visitors. You will manage access, monitor entry activity, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused office location while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Staff the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
- Monitor entry points, alarm panels, cameras, and other security-related systems from the reception area, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication protocols.
- Assist with directing guests, handling incoming inquiries, and supporting a professional, welcoming lobby environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
