Security Officer Patrol Reporting Job in Albuquerque, New Mexico

As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and document activities using computer or tablet tools. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate facility personnel and emergency responders as needed.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping maintain an orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and complete required documentation for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
