Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout retail and mall locations. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, observing for potential concerns, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication and support. This position also requires driving responsibilities as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations when required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter, observing for any irregularities, suspicious activities, or potential concerns.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence throughout assigned areas.
• Document and report security-related incidents and activities according to site protocols and Allied Universal policies.
• Offer assistance and directions to visitors and tenants as needed, promoting a welcoming environment within the location.
• Work collaboratively with property management and local law enforcement as directed in response to incidents or requests for assistance.
• Remain alert and observant to changing environmental and situational factors within the location to support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
