As a Security Guard Full Time Patrol Site Checks in Allen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, support badge and access-control processes, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor and report access control, visitor management, alarm, camera, and other security-related system activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions through required reports.
- Communicate professionally with site stakeholders and Allied Universal leadership, escalating security-related concerns and maintenance issues according to established protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Have experience with access control and badge systems, preferred.
- Possess a guard card or license, preferred.
- Hold CPR and First Aid certification, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
