Security Officer Full Time Unarmed First Aid Response Patrol Job in Allentown, Pennsylvania

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed First Aid Response Patrol in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

- All prospective employees are required to obtain a valid CPR certification.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused facility.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate entry, incident, and activity logs.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
- Observe and report security-related concerns involving facility access, equipment areas, and property, following site procedures and Allied Universal reporting standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
