Security Officer Patrol Concierge

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential care location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support residents, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor entrances and exits, help to control access to the location, and document visitor, vendor, and/or delivery activity as required by site procedures.
- Support a professional atmosphere by communicating clearly with residents, guests, and/or staff, while assisting with routine security-related questions and directions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
