What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entry and exit activity and help to confirm that visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries follow established location procedures.
- Support a professional atmosphere by communicating clearly with residents, guests, and/or team members while assisting with routine security-related requests and unusual situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or at least 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
