Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Job in Allentown, Pennsylvania

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming, security-related environment while responding to concerns with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity. CPR Certification:
- Candidates must obtain CPR certification prior to employment.
- Alied Universal offers paid training for CPR certification (B205) to ensure that all employees are equipped with the necessary skills to respond to emergencies.
- Proof of certification must be submitted before the commencement of employment.
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
