What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location within a financial services environment.
- Monitor lobby and reception activity, assist with visitor check-in processes, verify credentials and/or access permissions, and help to deter unauthorized entry in accordance with site protocols.
- Answer questions, provide directions, and communicate clearly with building occupants, guests, and management regarding access procedures, deliveries, and other front desk matters.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through required documentation and/or communication channels.
- Support access control operations by observing entry points, maintaining awareness of front desk activity, and following established procedures for alarms, notifications, and after-hours arrivals.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
