As a Security Officer Patrol Operations Monitor in Alpharetta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting details according to post instructions.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying credentials and/or directing guests in accordance with site-specific protocols for a financial services environment.
- Support Allied Universal and site personnel by communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and first responders during routine operations and/or emergency situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21+ years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
