Your responsibilities will include managing access control, checking badges, and delivering outstanding customer service while monitoring the entry area. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by greeting visitors, responding to inquiries, and assisting individuals entering or leaving the location in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor management to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and protocols as outlined by the site, using discretion and professionalism at all times.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as required in line with Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Document and report security-related observations, incidents, and activities through written and/or electronic logs.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed by site management or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Collaborate with client staff and other Allied Universal personnel to maintain a welcoming and security-conscious environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
