As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Amarillo, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol a retail location, maintaining a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and offers opportunities to provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, residents, staff, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail areas, residential or hospitality-style facilities, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and provide directions or assistance in accordance with site procedures.
- Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
