As a Security Officer Patrol Representative in Ambler, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. In this people-first role, you will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working as part of a reliable, agile, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, campus policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with campus contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor access points and observe foot and vehicle traffic to help support authorized entry, visitor directions, and adherence to location rules and posted requirements.
- Prepare reports on incidents, observations, and routine activities, and relay security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
