As a Security Officer Patrol Response in American Canyon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will remain visible to help reduce incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas of the location to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points, check credentials when required, and report policy violations, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious behavior observed during patrols.
- Support site operations by assisting with visitor processing, monitoring truck and delivery traffic, and maintaining accurate logs and reports related to daily security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
