As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, support access control procedures, and provide outstanding customer service to everyone on site. This role requires driving as part of the job responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries, directions, and security-related information.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activity in a timely and accurate manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and/or hazards.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site representatives to support overall security-related operations.
• Maintain awareness of site-specific policies and procedures, and participate in emergency response activities as needed.
• Utilize security-related technology, such as access control systems and surveillance equipment, as required by the site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
