As a Unarmed Security Professional - Manufacturing Site in Apex, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible, and engaging with staff and visitors to provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Sat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Sun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols.
  • Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal management and client representatives.
  • Assist in controlling access to the facility by monitoring entry and exit points as required.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as directed by Allied Universal policies.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
