As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and coworkers, and respond to requests with strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout aerospace and defense production areas, hangars, offices, parking areas and perimeter boundaries. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization and directing visitors, vendors and/or contractors to appropriate check-in locations.
• Monitor alarms, cameras and/or access control systems as assigned, and report irregular activity per post orders.
• Complete routine security-related logs and incident reports with accurate details, and communicate significant events to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct perimeter checks of gates, doors, fenced areas and restricted zones to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activity, and report maintenance concerns such as lighting outages or damaged barriers.
• Support emergency and non-emergency response actions such as building evacuations, shelter-in-place and medical calls by coordinating with site contacts and local responders as directed.
• Follow procedures for restricted areas and controlled property by observing for prohibited items, suspicious behavior and/or policy violations, and escalating concerns through the chain of command.
• Provide directions and general assistance to employees and visitors while maintaining a professional presence consistent with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be able to lift up to 20 lbs, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
