Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Appleton, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible throughout the premises, and help to deter security-related incidents. Your role will require carrying a firearm and driving as part of your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the manufacturing location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential threats and observe any unusual activity.
• Monitor access points to the manufacturing and industrial areas, verifying credentials and reporting any irregularities encountered.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and site contacts to relay observations and receive updates on site-specific protocols.
• Document security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols according to company procedures.
• Assist with emergency preparedness drills and participate in response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
