What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols within the location and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any incidents or concerns according to site protocols.
• Handle access control, verifying identification and credentials as required.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and site contacts.
• Follow all site-specific instructions, policies, and procedures related to security-related operations.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to patrol activities and incidents.
• Utilize appropriate equipment, including firearms, in accordance with laws, regulations, and site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
• Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
