Security Officer DoD Secret Unarmed Patrol with Active Clearance Job in Arlington, Virginia

As a Security Officer DoD Secret Unarmed Patrol with Active Clearance in Arlington, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintaining accurate activity logs.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established response protocols.
- Complete required reports and communicate observations, incidents, and/or concerns to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
