Security Officer Reception - Overnights

As a Security Officer Reception Security Specialist in Arlington, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer at a prestigious financial institution location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and support security-related protocols with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following site-specific procedures and front desk protocols within a financial institution location.
- Monitor access at the front desk by verifying visitor credentials, documenting arrivals and departures, and communicating with appropriate personnel regarding access requests.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when appropriate.
- Support security-related operations by answering phones, assisting with inquiries, maintaining front desk records, and reporting maintenance, access, and/or policy concerns through proper channels.
- Help to deter unauthorized access and policy violations through attentive presence, observation, and timely reporting of suspicious activity and/or security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
