Security Professional - Government Patrol Full-Time

As a Security Professional - Government Patrol Full-Time in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible in your assigned area. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and provide outstanding customer service. Your presence will contribute to a secure environment by observing and reporting any unusual activity, while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations when needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the assigned location, including both the interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and report any observed irregularities.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or incident reports relating to patrols, observations, and any security-related events.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related concerns or information relevant to the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
