Security Officer Patrol Vehicle Driver

As a Security Officer Patrol Vehicle Driver in Asheville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, support daily operations through teamwork, and act with integrity every day.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a controlled aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site expectations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify conditions that may require follow-up.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and report concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support access control, emergency communication, and other security-related duties as assigned, while maintaining professionalism in a dynamic industrial environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
