Security Officer Credential Verification

As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Coatesville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, control site access, and support security-related operations through routine patrols and a visible presence that helps to deter incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, badge verification steps, and other security-related policies at the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, check credentials, manage visitor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns to help support orderly site operations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Document daily activities, access-related events, and unusual observations in required reports, while communicating clearly with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
