As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Lobby in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a financial institution setting, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment by monitoring access, verifying credentials, and assisting visitors and employees. This is an armed post, requiring you to maintain a strong security-related presence while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the facility, verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk location.
• Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security-related matters.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including guiding individuals during evacuation or lockdown situations.
• Support the maintenance of order within the location by helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
