- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Monitor front desk activity, greet visitors, verify identification and/or access credentials, and direct employees, guests, and vendors according to site protocols.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain awareness of lobby, entry points, and reception areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a professional environment.
- Complete required logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or procedural questions to site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
