Security Officer - ESOC Operator

As a Security Officer - ESOC Operator in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Professional at a dynamic tech and telecom location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate responses, and support security-related operations through clear communication and strong teamwork. - Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, communication protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor dispatch communications, receive and prioritize calls for service, and coordinate the assignment of security-related personnel to routine and urgent incidents across the location.
- Document incidents, service requests, and shift activity in dispatch logs and reporting systems, helping to maintain accurate records for follow-up and review.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying timely updates to site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency services when needed.
- Support access control, alarm monitoring, camera review, and other security-related systems, helping to identify unusual activity and direct the appropriate response.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
