Security Officer Full Time Patrol Team

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Team in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, tenant and visitor concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, report unusual activity, and communicate with property management and/or local responders as needed.
- Support access control activities by checking credentials, assisting visitors, and following post orders for deliveries, vendors, and/or after-hours access.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
