What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and support access control procedures for employees, contractors, and/or visitors in a technology-focused location.
- Assist with routine inspections of doors, gates, lighting, and other assigned areas, reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations in accordance with post instructions.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
