Security Officer Part Time Site Patrol

In this unarmed role, you will support daily operations with a professional presence while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a commercial property location.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to property management and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry points, lobbies, loading areas, and/or other designated locations while reporting access concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior according to post instructions.
- Complete routine logs, incident reports, and/or activity documentation, and assist with emergency response activities based on site needs and Allied Universal guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess supervisory experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess 5 or more years of security-related experience.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
