Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Site Inspection Job in Atlanta, Georgia

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Site Inspection in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This role offers the opportunity to use your communication and security-related experience while working with an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
