Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Officer - Access Control Transportation in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a major transportation location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols in assigned areas. Your presence and attention to detail contribute to a secure environment for all visitors and personnel. By providing exceptional customer service and clear communication, you will support a positive experience while upholding the values of agility, reliability, and integrity that define Allied Universal.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of individuals and vehicles at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Verify credentials and/or identification of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities and any incidents that occur.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and local authorities as required.
• Support access control measures specific to the transportation environment, adapting to changing conditions as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
