As a Security Professional Unarmed Retail Patrol Officer in Auburn, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic retail environment, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. You will interact with the public, provide outstanding customer service, and act as a visible presence to support a secure environment. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the location using a company or client vehicle. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity.
• Report and document any security-related incidents, observations, or hazards encountered during patrols.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following directions from site management and Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while representing Allied Universal at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and provide proof as required by the client.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; preference will be given to those with prior experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
