As a Security Officer Patrol Access Support in Auburn, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and/or security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and credential compliance in support of established protocols at an aero and defense location.
- Support day-to-day site operations by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations, and by following post orders and client guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
