Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a government location, where you will drive throughout the site, conduct routine armed patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations through strong communication, professionalism, and customer service while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to post orders.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
- Support Allied Universal and site personnel during emergencies, disturbances, and/or medical events by maintaining visible presence, communicating clearly, and assisting with directed response actions.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
- An armed guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
